Our client, one of the larger chartered firms that are based in the SWUK are looking to appoint an experienced CTA – tax expert.  Our client has many personal customers that are spread throughout the SWUK Riviera, Southern/Home Counties and London.  Our client is looking to expand and pro-actively market their busy tax department to new prospective clients and all occuring business opportunities.  They are looking to appoint a tax professional who is capable of assisting and achieving results that are related to this development programme; thus enhancing the growth and performance of our client’s chartered practice.

We are looking for a tax professional who has gained some/all of the experience that has been described below.  Whilst it is fair to say; – if you are a tax expert, bright and ambitious, we would still welcome your application, no matter what age or PQE you possess. Other career opportunities will be available in the future, with this chartered client.

This career opportunity is with a modern, forward looking accountancy practice that are still expanding no matter what the rest of the economy is currently doing. Our client is an accountancy firm that we can thoroughly recommend. The following experience mentioned is what we are currently seeking to find:

  • Head/Senior of a small private wealth team that consults tax clients based in the SWUK, Southern/Home Counties or London;
  • Clients are HNI’s – Entrepreneurs, director/shareholder of SME’s & OMB’s, chief executives, acquired wealth, Lloyds underwriters,  retired individuals and landed estate owners, general HNI clients; non-domiciled individuals, non-residents, landlords, partnerships and non-resident landlords.
  • Oversee day to day tax affairs with direct contact;
  • Advising re: tax issues; capital gains tax, tax planning for profit extraction and inheritance tax;
  • Advisory consultancy: re-structuring a company’s shareholding to maximise entrepreneurs tax relief and consult regarding all future tax implications;
  • Division of assets regarding separation and divorce;
  • Marketing matrimonial services, advising on the tax implications of separation and divorce;
  • Tax reviews and tax compliance;
  • Power Point Presentations to new and existing clients including: Budget Day marketing, inheritance tax, capital gains tax and an introduction to tax;
  • Client networking and marketing to:  Businesses, banks and firms of solicitors;
  • Sale/leaseback of project business schemes;
  • Complaint issues with FSA regulations;
  • Knowledge of risk management;
  • Possible knowledge of out-house professional negligence procedures;
  • Ambitious, hard-working, possess integrity and abide by our client’s confidentiality rules.
