We are seeking to appoint for our law firm client a fluent German speaker IP Lawyer.
Your role will be advising German clients on all IP Issues.
Your role will be assisting other IP lawyers dealing with German clients.
You will be the key point of contact for all German clients
IP work will be wide-ranging including:
• Drafting and filing – including pre-filing advice to clients, issues of registrability,
drafting specifications and preparing and advising on file registrations;
• Prosecution;
• Searches;
• Contentious issues – including opposition and cancellation actions, infringement and anti-Counterfeiting issues;
• Portfolio management and advice;
• Clearance searching,
• Trade mark filings,
• Assignments,
• Licensing,
• Oppositions,
• Infringement and other contentious matters.
• Although not essential, experience with design matters would be beneficial. You will also be expected to help with business development and foster the continued growth of business.
