Financial Accountant – AAT ACA, ACCA, CIMA

Our client an industrious and expanding multi-national specialising in the food, beverages, engineering and manufacturing market are seeking to appoint a Financial Accountant.

The successful applicant will be working in the finance department which is modern, comfortable and very specious.

Our successful accountant client will be supporting the business with detailed financial accounting and providing information for budgets.

Your experience should include:

• Maintaining weekly overheads for weekly accounts;
• Preparation of monthly management accounts to strict deadlines, including planning &
• prioritising workloads;
• Involvement in annual budgeting and four year planning processes;
• Responsibility for statutory year end reporting – year end work preparation;
• Management of the nominal ledger – balance sheet reconciliation’s / review, control account reconciliation’s, inter-company reconciliation’s;
• Fixed asset control and reporting;
• Understand stock control(s);
• All administration of company cars;
• Close working with purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control to ensure the accuracy of the ledgers;
• Management of corporation tax, personal tax and other related tax matters;
• VAT recording and intrastat reporting;
• Maintenance of cashbook, and any other ad-hoc responsibilities as required.

We are seeking to find a proficient Microsoft Excel user, and preferably have knowledge of AS400. It is a requirement that AAT Qualifieds’, must be willing to study towards CIMA/ACCA qualification.

Applicants should also have good communication skills, good people skills and be disciplined in their approach to their workload.
