Finance Manager – Energy Firm
An exciting senior position in a fast moving renewable energy firm. The finance manager will report directly to the COO, providing accurate financial advice and support to enable sound business decisions.
Start: Immediate, Cornwall
Job Role:
- Prepare and interpret financial information;
- Monitor and interpret cash flows and predict future trends;
- Analyse change;
- Formulate strategic and long term business plans;
- Assist with strategic planning and decision making;
- Research and report on factors influencing business performance;
- Analyse competitors and market trends;
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost reduction opportunities;
- Manage financial accounting, monitoring and reporting mechanisms;
- Develop external relationships with appropriate contacts e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organisations such as Inland Revenue;
- Produce accurate financial reports to tight deadlines;
- Managing budgets;
- Keeping abreast of changes in financial reguilations and leglislation;
- Prepare financial reports for review.
Essential Requirements:
- ACCA / CIMA P/W or Finalist;
- Accounts preparation and financial reporting experience;
- Attention to detail;
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills;
- Can do attitude and inherent drive to succeed;
- Strong record of academic achievement;
- Team.
