Job: Construction Lawyer

Construction Lawyer, South West – 35/90K+

We are looking for a Construction Lawyer to work within our clients  Real Estate team.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with a Senior Partner that is noted as a “tremendously experienced and hugely respected construction solicitor” (Chambers 2010) and “respected for his knowledge of the construction industry (Chambers 2011).

The Role

• Lead and undertake a full range of construction cases for clients throughout the South West peninsula and beyond.
• Proactively grow and develop capability, client work and fee income as part of supporting the business and strategic plans.
• Work with the Team Leader and others within the wider team to further develop the Construction offering as part of the wider Real Estate team.

Key responsibilities 

• Ideally you must have a good grounding in construction law, preferably from within  a  recognised national or regional construction practice.
• Have a real commitment to quality. The Construction Unit aspires to being the premier   construction practice on the South West peninsula and in fulfilling this objective seeks to offer the very highest levels of service.
• Keen to participate in all business development activity- both on a firm, unit and individual level. This will include participating in client/target specific marketing as well as general profile raising.
• Have a flexible approach and the ability to work in a team environment. Good communication
• skills (both written and oral) are vital.
• The ability to use effectively modern IT equipment is important.
