Job: Paralegal – Court of Protection

Paralegal Court of Protection central London

Our law firm client situated in London SE1 are looking to find a court of protection paralegal with the following skill-set:

Managing own caseload of Court of Protection files. The non-contentious aspect of the role involves corresponding with all parties, drafting legal documents, liaising with the professional Deputy and administering the financial affairs of the incapacitated individual. Investigating potential wrong-doing by the person previously entrusted to deal with the incapacitated individual’s affairs, corresponding with the courts and the other side, preparing trial bundles and liaising with litigation solicitors.

Past law firm experience that “may” qualify you for this position:
Working in the Private Client – Contentious Probate department dealing with drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney and legal precedents, legal research, communicating with clients and other parties, writing legal articles, organising fee-earners’ workloads and interviewing clients.

We are seeking to find excellent team working skills, initiative, a flexible approach and strong time management and organisational skills.
