| Job Information | Conveyancer or NQ property Lawyer – Cornwall 30-60K I am seeking to find a newly qualified lawyer who now wishes to specialise in property. Or a conveyancer who is currently working in a team who wishes to progress to become a Partners Assistant. Working as a Partner’s Assistant you will learn all about more complex transactions and dealings in the property world. I could also be looking to find an ambitious property conveyancer with at least six months experience who has ambitions of working in a more complex environment and qualifying CLC. I could also be looking for a senior CLC qualified conveyancer looking for a move to work as a Partners Assistant. A daily work routine in this position could involve the following: Handling sale and purchase transactions from beginning to end for both freehold and possibly leasehold transactions. Transfers of Equity and re-mortgages. Purchase and re-mortgages. Interdepartmental referrals ensuring compliance with court orders. Learning or getting assistance with drafting commercial and residential leases. Serving S.5 notices. Drafted a postponement of charge deed on behalf of lenders and borrowers. Handling documents for unregistered land for both purchase and voluntary first registration. Statutory declaration application of land for a client at the Land Registry. Acting for a Trust, drafting Deeds of Retirement and Appointment as necessary along with ensuring the Trusts properties correctly reflect the current trustees. Auction transactions acting for both seller and purchaser. Reporting to clients on Leases, unregistered land, search documents and any other pertinent paperwork. Meet with clients to review their transactions, discuss issues, and advise how best to proceed. Attend numerous networking events representing the firm and arranging follow up meetings with prospective clients and obtaining work for the firm. Jonny Scott-Slater or Joey Polperro |
