TITLE:
National Panel Co-ordinator
We are seeking to appoint a:
• Chartered Accountant;
• Lawyer;
• Business professional with a stable track record.
LOCATION:
South West of England with travel throughout England as the job requires. Some home working is possible.
REQUIREMENTS:
The main purpose of the NPC will be to be a dynamic and vital member of an executive management team who will hold strategic responsibility for the operational and internal management of a Panel of Lawyers with whom it intends to appoint. The NPC will motivate, lead and support the national roll out of Solicitors Panel and have ownership responsibility and accountability for governance and day to day administration of that function.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
To be successful in this post you will need to have experience in the provision of legal services and in particular property related security or conveyancing work, to have good track record of team working and team leadership and a strong experience with business functions and systems including all aspects of IT. Gravitas and a proven track record of achieving results, strong decision making ability, creative solving ability and problem solving techniques typical of a project management role.
QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION:
Ideally you would have obtained a Degree, MBA or Advanced Degree. Professional qualifications in any areas of activity (including) and especially the legal profession would be highly beneficial.
DUTIES:
Overall responsibility for the internal management of the roll out of an appointment of a multi party panel of Lawyers reporting to the key appointee and working as Solicitors to our client in the execution of their day to day business. It will include reporting to the Board, working with managers and senior individuals and the fifty to one hundred legal firms and dealing with all aspects of operations in that domain. You will assist Solicitors in the drafting of operational procedures, work flow and legal documents to ensure the satisfactory operation of a Panel of Lawyers carrying out legal functions for and on behalf of our client.
USING BEST PLANNING PROCESSES:
You will work to input operation and management systems and incorporating them into the existing Operations Manual to achieve the end.
The initial requirements will involve working closely within our client’s firm assisting in the operational design of the panel programme and accompanying IT issues, overseeing panel appointments, teething issues and problem solving moving towards onwards maintenance and further growth prospect.
