Job Information | Construction/Engineering Litigation Lawyer 2/8 PQE Our client is seeking to appoint an Associate Lawyer to work within the Construction & Engineering team based in the SWUK. The successful candidate will have a track record in contentious construction work across a wide range of contracts. Experience of JCT and NEC will be essential but experience of PFI/PPP projects at both Project Agreement and/or Construction/Services Contract level will be advantageous. Although the primary focus will be on developing contentious construction work, a good grounding in non-contentious construction work will also be required. The successful candidate should also have excellent business development skills. Our client work from modern offices based in the SWUK, they work on a mix of contentious and non-contentious matters for both public sector clients and private sector clients who provide services to the public sector. Our law firm clients advise in: Health, education, housing and local authority, infrastructure, leisure, waste management, rail, highways and renewable energy sectors. Our law firm client also advises on all standard form and bespoke documentation, including professional appointments, pre-construction agreements, building contracts, performance bonds, guarantees and collateral warranties. This ranges from traditional and design and build contracts, through to construction management and management contracting.
