Practice Manager – Law Firm Head Hunter, Miami USA based.

Our recruitment group has taken an active equity shareholding in a newly formed US law firm based in Southern Florida.  Our brief is to manage the office premises and continually recruit law firm attorney’s that have an active and valuable client book from any US state especially those working in Florida and California.  This is a continuous retained mandate with no final completion date.

This newly established law firm can be described as a generalist law practice covering the following legal business activities.

  • Family;
  • Business affairs;
  • Bankruptcy;
  • New business start-up;
  • Personal injury;
  • Private client;
  • Litigation;
  • Specialist litigation;
  • Real Estate, (Private Client);
  • Commercial Real Estate;
  • Health Care & Life Sciences;
  • Trusts and Estates;
  • Consumer Finance.

The job-share will be working in two month shifts, which will calculate to six months work per annum.  UK candidate’s package will include accommodation and flights. Candidates should coincider this appointment a lifestyle job not a career position, although these days who can tell.

The practice management function will include management control of:

  • All cleaning and waste disposal contracts;
  • Repair contracts;
  • Security for office;
  • Security for VIP visitor and key executives;
  • Executive catering and beverages;
  • Catering contracts;
  • Reception management;
  • Porterage ;
  • Help Desk;
  • Mailroom;
  • Reprographics;
  • Non –technical services;
  • Stationary;
  • Parking;
  • Budgets, expenditure and KPI’s;
  • IT and systems contracts;
  • Healthcare and medical.

 

The Executive Search Recruitment part of the job:

Working in a team of three this is the most important aspect of our business.  We are responsible for adding new attorney talent to the newly established law firm.  We are looking to add a fixed number of new fee earners to the business per annum.

This is the most important part of the job that includes:

  • Extensive attorney research;
  • Ist point of contact and attorney client meeting;
  • Selling the new law firm;
  • Arranging interviews and meetings with all shareholders and attorney candidates;
  • Pitching the deal;
  • Closing the deal;
  • Assisting with relocation;
  • Setting up education for Florida or California Bar exams;
  • Lawyer Bar exam tuition schedules.
