2 Paralegals, Expanding Law Firm,  SWUK-London Offices.

We are seeking to find for our client two very capable and experienced paralegals.  Ideally we are seeking legal work experience in the following law office specialisations: Commercial litigation, corporate business, data protection, intellectual property, media works, bankruptcy, telecommunications, energy/utilities and white collar crime.

Candidates with a law degree classification 2:1 and above may receive training.  If you have a 1^st class law degree classification, you are one of the candidates that we are looking for.

Graduate ILEX level 6 applicants may also apply.

We are seeking legal work experience in some of the following areas:

• Legal research;
• Investigations;
• Compilation of legal documents/forms;
• Claims forms, text and statutes;
• Library searches;
• Arrange meetings;
• Phone work;
• Drafting documents;
• Proof-reading documents;
• Letters;
• Managing case files;
• Advanced legal research;
• Client liaison;
• Taking statements from witnesses;
• Closing preparations;
• Hearing preparations;
• Trial preparations;
• Identification of  appropriate laws;
• Identify judicial decisions;
• Source legal articles relevant to the case;
• Prepare written reports, as instructed;
• Prepare legal arguments, as instructed;
• Prepare draft pleas as instructed;
• File motions with the courts;
• Obtain affidavits;
• Track files of important case documents;
• Maintain financial records.
