Solicitor – Commercial,  – Intellectual Property / Trademark. 30-60K+

Our client, an expanding West Country Law Firm are looking to appoint a profficient and ambitious lawyer for their specialist Commercial Team.

Ideally we are seeking to find a 3-5 year PQE Commercial Lawyer/Intellectual Property/ Trademark Professional to join a busy team dealing with high quality Intellectual Property and Commercial work.

Your clients will be based in the UK and overseas. The type of client ranges from the SME, to multinationals and public bodies.

Trademark work includes:

  • Giving advice on registerability;
  • Opposition work;
  • Management of client trademark portfolios;
  • Strategic advice on the protection use and exploitation;
  • Drafting and advising on commercial contracts, including some technology contracts.

The successful candidate will also undertake day to day supervision of Paralegals.

They will be expected to work with the Partners in the department with the development and securing of new client business relationships.

Our ideal candidate must have a strong background and experience in Intellectual Property and Trademark law.

Ideally having gained experience at a major regional or City law firm or trademark specialist corporate.
