We are seeking to find a seasoned media law firm Partner or Senior Associate who has experience and expertise working with clients involved in:

• Broadcasting Media;
• Publishing;
• Print;
• New Media;
• Internet;
• Wireless Technology industries.

Our chosen candidate will have the experience to manage and deal with all situations and codes of practice regulating the various media sectors and how they interact with current legislation.

Ideally you will have key knowledge and vital expertise to protect, advise and guide your clients’ in todays modern fast moving digital commercial environment.

We are seeking to find an expert Media Partner or Senior Associate  that can manage a department that can represent:

• Limited and public companies with offices both in the UK and overseas.
• Politicans;
• Business people;
• International private clients.

Our law firm clients’ are very compedent claimant lawyers.  They have a track record representing private clients’, international private clients’, small, medium, large companies and multi-office global corporations.

We are seeking to find an expert senior legal media professional who can assess problems quickly.

Structure and design a guardian public response that projects a positive image for the corporate client.

Various paths to client recovery include calculated legal proceedings and making a complaint to the relevant regulatory body.

We are seeking a future partner with experience in dealing with:

• Ofcom;
• The Press Complaints Commission;
• Advertising Standards Authority;
• European regulators.

Your department will have lawyers with the following specialised experience including:

• Crisis and reputation management;
• Defamation
• Privacy
• Copyright
• Data protection
• Freedom of information
• Comparative advertising
• Human rights
• Judicial review.

Ideally we are seeking a candidate with a thorough knowledge  of:

• Human Rights Act 1998;
• Competing rights of privacy;
• Freedom of expression.
